The farming industry is embracing a new crop-control technique that uses the energy from the sun to reduce weeds in their fields.
The technique involves using a light-emitting diode (LED) to illuminate crops to keep them out of the way, according to the Canadian Organic Growers Association.
The company is developing a new LED system that can reduce the amount of light that plants receive and the amount that weeds can be seen.
The technology, which uses solar panels and a combination of LED lights, is used to reduce the growing season of weeds, reduce the number of plants that need to be removed from fields and to help reduce the need for pesticides.
The group has tested the new technology on more than 50 different crops and crops that typically require more than 3,000 to 4,000 plants to grow and produce, said Rob Van Valkenburgh, a senior manager with the group’s North American agricultural program.
While some growers have used the technology for decades to control weeds in fields, this new technology is a significant step forward in the industry, he said.
“The industry is getting a lot more creative and the market is getting really excited about this technology,” Van Valkerhout said.
Weeds are a big problem in the U.S., and many farmers are now using the technology to control weed growth in their field.
However, the LED system used by Canadian Organic is the first of its kind that has been proven to help farmers.
The Canadian Organic group hopes to use the technology in other areas of the country in the coming years, Van Vayerhout added.
The new LED-based crop-protection system uses a small light source mounted on a small motor to illuminate a small amount of soil.
It then uses a series of lasers to absorb the light from the soil and return it to the plant, he explained.
“It takes just a few hours of photovoltaic energy and it uses that energy to reduce a field of weeds and reduce the energy needed to grow a crop,” Vanvayerhown said.
The light source is mounted on the back of a tractor.
The LED technology is not new.
There are about 3,400 LED lights on the market today, VanVayerhong said.
However this is the largest market share in the LED industry.
“If you take away the one company in the world that is producing this and using it, then you lose a huge chunk of the overall market.
It’s a very important piece of technology in the overall ecosystem,” VanVasherhout explained.
A large part of the problem is that weeds in Canada grow in the sun and are difficult to control.
The LED system uses solar energy to absorb sunlight from the sky and return the light back to the plants, which can help keep the sun out.
A group of farmers in Canada has been experimenting with the LED technology for years, and they hope it will help them control weeds without the need to go to a pest control company.
“We’ve been experimenting for about 10 years and we’ve had some success,” said David Gillett, president of the North American organic group.
“We’ve had a lot of success, and it’s very exciting for us.”
The North American farmers group has been working with the Canadian Farmers Association to bring the technology into the market.
Van Vaterhout is also a member of the group and has been a long-time supporter.
“I think the technology is very innovative and very cool,” Van Verherhout told CBC News.
“It’s just a great way to keep a field free from weeds.”
The Canadian Farmers association said the technology will be ready for commercialization in the spring of 2019.
