Posted October 01, 2019 09:53:51The 2018 Southern Agriculture Owlasso Scholarship has been extended through September 30, 2019.
The award is for a 2019 undergraduate or graduate student or doctoral student who has demonstrated leadership and leadership skills in agricultural and sustainable agriculture education, including, but not limited to, teaching courses related to agricultural and environmental sustainability.
Students are required to complete an online application and submit a completed Graduate Transcript application to the department and university.
The award is not available to students enrolled in accredited agricultural or agricultural-related graduate or professional programs, or those enrolled in a graduate program in agricultural or sustainable agriculture.
The Southern Agriculture Award is a unique opportunity for the university and its community to recognize exceptional students in agriculture.
Students must have a minimum of four years of agricultural experience in agriculture, be enrolled full-time in an accredited agricultural education program, and have completed an internship at the university or its agricultural research institution.
The 2018 Southern Agricultural Owasso award is one of the most prestigious in the university’s history.
Students who are accepted to the Southern Agriculture Scholarship will be able to take advantage of many scholarships, grants, fellowships and other opportunities available to eligible students.

The 2018 award will be awarded for students who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better in the last three semesters.
Students must also demonstrate an interest in agriculture and a commitment to the pursuit of a career in agricultural science, management and administration.
